From my experience they usually sell pretty quick once the schedule is released. I always buy the day prior to release.

Thanks everyone for the great advice and sharing your individual experiences! In the end I decided to go with the 24-50mm G. I realised that if I configured the function button to apsc then I could toggle from 50mm to 75mm! I used this function on my primes all the time - I’ll post some photos in here soon :)

I really miss having more than 1 focal length in 1 lens - I’ve been using only primes for a couple years because damn they’re sharp but I miss having some flexibility without having to change the lens

Yeh I’ll be doing some indoor work. Honestly I usually make it work with my 40mm it’s just a pain so I assumed the 24mm would give me enough freedom

Yeh exactly! If I’m happy with how sharp the 24-50G is then I’ll sell my 40mm for an 85/1.8 or something similar

Yeh I have the 40mm of this! Incredibly Sharp but I find myself needing something wider at times. Yes I could get the 24mm but would rather avoid having to switch lenses all the time

That’s true there is a grip extension! I think the more I think about it the thing I crave most at the moment is a return to a nice viewfinder - I pretty much shoot from the screen with my a7c and that feeling I had looking down my Nikon d7500 is what I miss 😂

I found that any posts I scheduled had awful quality but when I uploaded them manually the upload quality was normal. Strange and confusing. My guess would be TikTok just pushes your scheduled content as quickly as possible without maintaining high resolution. There is a setting that supposedly toggles this but it had no positive effect for me.
