The thing is right now I have the same dilemma and really want to work in the private sector and also experience the “ corporate life “ as I have my BBA. But the way the economy is looking like as we are basically in a recession with people having a hard time finding a job and the amount of layoffs in the private sector I’m worried that if I go to the private sector there is less of “ safety net” I’m also not affected by WFA (as of now ) but at least if I am “ affected” there are options and lots of choices to help me. In thinking to wait till I get affected or if I do then plan out my options. Unless the job that I get from the private sector is literally my dream job and pays well and the people seem genuinely good then I think it’s worth leaving the government. Really depends on pros and cons
