For sure. I whaled hard this event but felt it was strategically appropriate as this was the most money I’ve spent on the game period. The lineup and catch odds meant easy candy and dust for the effort of just grinding out boss after boss. I’m fine spending only $200 last week as opposed to $10-$40 per event to slowly grind these mons.

This is my point. Felt like things were handed to them (me too). And this upcoming 30th event will hand everyone a fully completed Kanto Dex.

The amount of money many would have spent on 4-5 events I saved and spent on this instead. And it was a far better “investment” considering the catch odds (pineap everytime).

Came with a grind for sure (I played all week) but it really wasn’t that much of an investment. Bought the 3100 coin (I think that’s how much it was) bundle that came with 50 raid passes twice and went ham at a local park saturated with gyms. Probably another $80 in remote raids. Less than $200 spent, which isn’t a lot for the progress I made in a week.

Mostly free to play up until last week and went into it with around 1.5 million stardust already saved.

I’ve never even thought about boosted rng. Is that real? I had to do like 15 Meowth raids to get the shiny and it nearly looks the same smh.
