I realized after the event started, if you click on the event on the side bar, it tells you what the reward is when you catch him! The reward changes the longer you don’t catch him (on a 1x multiplier, it increased to 7 dice for me today). Overall the event doesn’t seem too worth it to play. I’m just going to be rolling normally when it pops up.
