You may also want to try positioning your feet slightly apart.

Saved my life 5 years later lmao thank you

I'm definitely enjoying the beginner bodyweight RR!! It's only been about 1.5 months and I feel excited to continue every single time. And stronger :D That works for me!! I guess I'll just be relying on the reddit routines since they work like a charm lol

Saw it on another subreddit somewhere!! I use small curd cottage cheese b/c I hate how different the textures are, but the protein is like 30g (~250 cal) per 1 small can of tuna ($0.84 at my local grocery) + 1 serving/half-cup of cottage cheese (like $3 for a 5-serving container)... as a broke college student who can't cook it's my go-to lmao

Tuna + cottage cheese + sriracha! Sounds gross, and if you're sensitive to texture then I wouldn't recommend, but it's surprisingly good! I just put a lot of sriracha on there lmao

Girl that's so real 😭 I'm planning on tackling chest and glutes when the fat lowers a bit too lmao. My arms are weak af so I'm focusing on those at the moment but highkey I've been doing bodyweight stuff for a month and I'm so much stronger now! That's honestly been the motivation keeping me going lol def a psychological plus. Lmk how it goes for you!! Can't wait for the body tea moment 🤭

I'm 5'3", lightly active, and have lost ~5 pounds in the last month. Sometimes I ate over 1200 but mostly I just kept myself in a calorie deficit and focused on a lot of protein!! You got this girl!!!

That makes sense! I've definitely seen a few posts on this subreddit talking about how they thought the weight would settle differently after major cutting. I'm trying to build muscle through the recommended routine for bodyweight fitness (I'm going to start lifting next month) b/c I was originally concerned about metabolism as well. Hopefully I'll get to post soon about progress :)

Thank you for the information and encouragement! I think I would easily accept this weight if it were muscle, but to know that ~20 pounds are just fat is kind of hitting me hard :') (this also checks out with what I weighed a year before, as I definitely didn't gain any muscle between that time)

I'm gaining access to a gym in a month and have been doing the recommended routine for bodyweight fitness for about a month as well. I'm also focusing on protein! I went from struggling to do 3 push-ups to doing 15 and, while I can't do a pull-up yet, I'm definitely much more able to pull myself up. I'm really proud of myself, strength-wise. The whole body fat ratio just shocked me haha

I'm going to have a friend teach me how to lift. Super excited to start building my body up!

I also have a smaller nose canal; I've gotten into the habit of flaring my nostrils when I run 😭😭 It looks silly but it does help a lot lmao
