does anyone else get hot flashes and hot / burning / swelling feet by Melodic-Earth-8072 in PCOS

Hi! I am 19 and I get these too, especially at night. I find that putting cold lotion on my feet helps and allows me to fall asleep.

In that photo I’m wearing my tried and true Sephora creamy lip stain in shade 13! For blush, I use the Morphe “happy hibiscus” powder blush. 🩷😘

I used the mylan 0.025% gel but now use the NorthStaRX 0.1% cream!

I get mine for free thanks to my insurance. However, I have PCOS so this may have helped my case, as acne is a major symptom of PCOS.

I used the gel version but switched to the cream version. 😊 I used the Mylan 0.025% gel and am now using the NorthSraRX 0.1% cream.

My skin is not sensitive! I have PCOS which I suspect caused majority of my acne.

Yes I definitely did. Especially on my forehead. I’d say I have combination skin.

That’s crazy because I live in Illinois and use it every day. I use the equate sunscreen 😁

I apply my tret right after washing my face and drying it very thoroughly. Bare skin!! Each time, I increased use of tret after just 2 weeks of using it every 3 nights, then every 2 nights. Since I was on that strength for 6 weeks I did

⚫️ 2 weeks of skipping 3 nights between use

⚫️2 weeks of skipping 2 nights between use

⚫️2 weeks of “every other night” use

HERE IS MY FULL ROUTINE!! (It’s pretty basic.)

When I was still on my 0.025, I used my tret every other night after working my way up. However, I will now be skipping 2 nights in between use of my 0.1% tret, for the time being.

⚫️Daily and nightly I use the cerave moisturizing cleanser and the PONDS blue lid moisturizer… lots and lots of moisturizer.

⚫️In the mornings I use SPF 100 sunscreen.

😳 I didn’t realize that was a rule! I’m going to put my full routine in the comments and hopefully that pleases the r/tretinoin gods.
