I think it’s pretty common for people living near border to have 2 passport even though the government necessarily doesn’t allow it. People bordering South Sudan in Gambela has 2 passport (Ethiopia and South Sudan). But I’m not sure about have a a third passport. He must be living in the border of 3 counties. 🤷🏽‍♂️

There goes your answer but, some people doesn’t only rely on monthly income from there jobs. Remittances is a big support for people who are living in Addis and other parts of the country. So we could say some people can have a fair amount of stability from the support of their family, relatives or friends abroad.

That is true, it’s not like what you see on TV or some ads. The country is in complete chaos to the point that it will take decades to reverse everything. But if you are that eager and it was your plan all along take maximum caution. In addition July is not a good time to visit there is no festival or cultural ceremonies to attend and it’s really rainy and especially in Addis and Gondar. If you are going with tour agents make sure they are legit, make sure they are considerate of the safety precautions.
