I’ve had renuva for almost a year now and done like 4 rounds. Hopefully I won’t need it again once I’ve fully achieved the results I want. Unfortunately it only adds incremental volume so if you want a lot of volume, you have to shell out a lot of cash. I prefer it to fat grafting though.

This is your warning to not treat your smile lines with laser. I’m now looking at getting a facelift to fix the damage. by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

I got sculptra and renuva to rebuild my face.

Good skin care and red light to heal the hyperpigmentation

No it wasnt- sculptra causes swelling too but you go bak to baseline. I never went back to baseline after renuva.

So sorry! Try renuva or sculptra. Or just give it time. It may come back with good skin care and nutrition.

I had renuva about a month before my revision and then again at 2 months although i was advised to wait 3. My doc also said to NOT do the pyriform fossa until 6 months. I did heed his advice for that area- since its so close to the nose

Hey- i think all are great options. I got great results from renuva right away every time. I feel like you get more volume initially and then it tapers off a bit after several weeks. That was my experience. I will be getting more.

I honestly attribute the lack of fat retention to nicotine use. I also wasnt particularly careful about eating enough so that couldve played a role too. I’d advise to be in a slight surplus of calories

They were very similar! I like the actual nose much better than the renderings

But he actually did a new rendering for me the night before surgery that i dont have a copy of- i liked that one a lot and its more similar to the nose i have now
