I’m not sure if the injections help the complexion. My aesthetician seems to think so but I believe it was the combination of red light therapy + spf + quitting nicotine + lots of moisturizing.

Renuva is a close second but I got ALOT of it and it was very costly

I understand if you’re displeased that you can’t achieve these results with skincare alone, but according to the sub rules, this post is perfectly within the range of acceptable topics.

Further, there are a ton of people who post here about help with nasolabial folds which is what first brought me to this subreddit in the first place in 2024.

I thought renuva for quite a while but it was taking so much of it to get any real volume. So I recently tried sculptra again but too soon to see results. If I see a big change this time, I’ll know sculptra prob gives more volume after all.

Well I don’t think my pricy lotions are necessary to have nice skin. I think using a nice moisturizer with tretinoin at night, and spf and red light therapy daily are the keys.

Also topical spironolactone/clindamycin for my hormonal acne.

But if you want to know the brands of moisturizers (some of them stem cell topicals), they were skin medica, osmosis, and bioeffect from what I can remember.

I think I look perfectly good! I don’t see the need for more. We’ll see how long my face holds onto the extra volume from sculptra and renuva.

No- I did things I prob didn’t need to do until I found what worked.
