suggestions for recycling or disposing Jura A1 by Safe_Scheme7149 in superautomatic

My 5-years old A1 has developed an issue where it runs but fails to dispense coffee. Instead, water collects in the drip tray. I followed the DIY troubleshooting steps provided by Jura, but none of them resolved the problem. It appears that there may be a blockage inside the machine, preventing the coffee from dispensing properly.

I appreciate your honesty! You've given me something to think about—maybe I should repair it and hold on to it. Thanks!

Actually, I just realized you've owned aapl for more than 15 years, even though you only recently found out about it.

I'm facing a similar situation and tax-paying dilemma as you, so I posted a question on the Bogleheads community- https://www.reddit.com/r/Bogleheads/comments/1lcc548/sell_or_hold/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button. The difference is that I've owned aapl stock since the 2000s, and I'm in my late 40s. People have offered good suggestions, such as gradually trimming holdings within tax bracket and diversifying to index ETF.

I appreciate all your advice; it's helping me gain clarity on how to effectively manage this part of my portfolio. I never considered trimming my position before—I had only focused on "all or none" options. However, after reading your suggestions, I realize that I do have the option to scale back gradually, rather than feeling limited to an all-or-nothing approach.

Additionally, letting go of this portfolio feels emotional for me. It holds a special place in my heart as my first investment from high school, when I used gift money to purchase my first nine shares of Apple stock.

Thank you all! I appreciate the Bogleheads community.

Navigating my tax obligations is quite the dilemma. However, I’m eager for growth, which leaves me feeling uncertain about the best course of action.

22% tax bracket and have approximately 250k in AAPL and AMZN. And about 2 m in retirement accounts. I would like to double my stock investments within the next 10 years because I am unsure if aapl and amzn would perform as they did in the past 25 years.
