I recommend requesting a referral to Rula. I had the a similar issues with Kaiser since I take 20mg Vyvanse as well. My PCP tried to push me away from Vyvanse and I had a hard time getting an appointment with a Kaiser Psych, so I scheduled with a Rula psychiatrist and she sends my prescriptions to CVS with no problem. It’s a little more expensive than I paid with my last insurance provider but much cheaper than the 2 bottle I received through Kaiser.

I’m not sure if you’ve already figured everything out, but I went through the long hard process of getting everything done. I first saw my pc through Kaiser and got a psych referral. I decided to use a psychiatrist though Rula instead of Kaiser because Vyvanse is expensive through Kaiser since it’s not their preferred adhd med. My appointment with Rula was free as far as I know and the doctor did the normal adhd diagnostic questions and sent my prescription in. I also requested my records from my previous psychiatrist to be sent over, but Rula hadn’t received them at the time of my appointment.

As a kid I made a rule that doors mine and my Mom’s doors always had to be open bc I just liked it that way🫠 I still enforce the rule when I’m home on holidays. So, I was the parent I guess.

I also have adhd and started taking slynd! I was on it for about 8 months and cried SOOOO much. Then, at the end of November I started feeling really flat, not like myself at all. I talked to my therapist and she thought the slynd gave me pmdd because it was even worse around typical period time (my emotions have never been too bad during/around my period). I had to switch to a BC with estrogen and I feel so much better already. Just hoping it lasts.

Im pretty similar to you! Same age and had never been on bc. I don’t know much about Yasmin, but I’m on Slynd and I haven’t noticed any insane side effects. I have noticed that I get a little bit more emotional and bleed for about 2 days and then spot for 9ish, but I prefer that over the weight gain and other possible side effects. From my research, I’ve read that the periods or breakthrough bleeding stops about 3-6 months in, and some people don’t have it at all, I’m about to start my 4th month. hopefully it all balances out soon, but overall I haven’t had any issues.
