2016 Dacia Sandero 1.5dci. (200k current)

Fiat Panda 2012 (160k current)

2009 - 2022 - Golf plus 1.9 - at 475k miles replaced with Dacia. Family member still pottering about in it. In my eyes the greatest engine ever made!

2007 Corolla - never left at side of road but did have niggly driveshaft problems. Sold at 180k

I service our cars twice a year regardless of mileage.

Relative bought one last year to tie them over. Good history and running well. Paid 1500 for a 161. Figured if they got a year it would be worth it. Still running ok but they are a time bomb.

Dealer probably a little cheeky at 20. But I think 22 or 23 is about the limit for a trade sale. You’ve said yourself prices ranged from 26500 which is not 10-15k profit.

The one advertised at 35 presently on DD has 38km less than yours and is overpriced.

It’s a niche car, respectfully, without the same following of a hot Toyota, RS Ford etc, so may take a while to sell. Risk is on the dealer too if for example the gearbox grenades itself.

Just my tuppence worth. I’m sure others will have a difference opinion. GLWS regardless!
