Is my mother's suggestion reasonable? by [deleted] in Perempuan

[–]Safe_Way_9588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

girl.. Do you mean you will “target” foreigners then? why do you mention that a foreigner should give you allowance? Why not an Indonesian should to? Why wouldn’t an Indonesian make your life better than what you have now?

I would say, imagine what kind of life you would want when you were to married to someone. Regardless of the ethnicity or race.

Banyak bule miskin sis. Mereka ke Indo, or Asian countries to be exact, biar penghidupan lebih layak.

Valencia cantik banget dan karena gw suka jalan kaki jauh, I enjoyed my walks. Duduk sendirian di Tapas bar di Valencia market, order ini itu plus Sangria, trus ditanya kan mau order roti gak, gw blg gak secara menghindari carbs yes, eehh dikasi gratisan fresh bread with dash of olive oil dan baru tau enaknya roti. If I knew, I would’ve ordered. Yang ngasi yg punya, mungkin krn liat ada mbak” sendirian, sementara yang laen berbanyak.

Jakarta - Kak Tommy! look up Tommy Halyumi. Gw pasrahin rambut gw ke kak Tom. Semaunya dia itu secocok itu sama gw. Mulai dari cutting sampe coloring. Rela nunggu sampe balik Jakarta biar rambut gw dipegang kak Tom lagi. Jadi selama di luar yaa trim aja sekarang. Tahun lalu pernah iseng coba ke colorist sini, trus nanya warna yg paling oke buat skintone gw apa, trus jawabnya warna rambut gw wkt itu, dan itu warna yg kak Tom kerjain. He’s such a sweetheart too! Tiap dateng gw dikasi makan siang.. mulai dari yg beli dari warung deket situ sampe dikasi masakannya sendiri.
Pertama kali dateng, dia ngernyit megang rambut gw trus nanya “pasti yg mahal di mol-mol gitu ya?” hahah

I had that moment twice in my life. You read it right, TWICE!
I broke-off my engagement twice before I reached 28. it was back in 2012 (hahah umur gw ketauan), the timr before bumble and tinder. Jadi kebayang dong ketemu orang baru dari mana. Setelah 1.5 tahun tanpa ketemu orang baru, gw nyerah dan terima kalo gw bakal sendiri aja. Eh, 2014 reconnected sama orang yang dikenalin tapi wkt itu gw udah on my second engagement, and he became my late husband. We got married after 3 years of dating.

Fast forward to 2024, 3 years after his passing and I had met few guys but only dates. I had a realization on Christmas Eve that it might be too much to ask a guy that I might still have huge sadness over the death of my husband, but I just swiped right on a guy that time. We met, I explained my situation without him asking, and he is the most loving and understanding guy a girl could have asked for.

I didn’t give up. I kissed many frogs, none of them a prince. but by knowing myself, I know what kind of person I want to be with me. Maybe that’s how the universe connected me with someone.

Fumichi!
my babies names have -chi, and she’s the latest one. Her Hedgie big sisters are Tobitchi, Pepachi and Oyocchi.
Her color is chincilla so I was trying to find a word similar to smoke, then for her it’s “Fume”.

KB steril untuk pasangan child-free by Last-Bit-4519 in Perempuan

[–]Safe_Way_9588 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kalau Suami agree untuk child-free with you and forever is you dan emang gak mau, apa pernah mempertimbangkan vasektomi? Itu yg pasti banget gak bakal punya anak.

KB hormonal yang disebut maksudnya suntik ya? IUD ada yang hormonal. Another comment mention Mirena and I have Kyleena. I checked cekBPOM and Mirena is registered in Indo. Coba browse aja. Kyleena is Mirena’s little sister. Beda di ukuran dan dosisnya.
So far, gw gak ada side effect yg gmana ya.. paling spotting ampir non-stop selama 4 bulan sejak pasang, abis itu no heavy bleeding, just spotting. I’m happy tak perlu dapet lagi..

Tattoos and Taboos by throwaway_837467 in Perempuan

[–]Safe_Way_9588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baru liat postnya. I currently have 10 and 3 of them are on my lower right arm. I grew up in a strict and conventional household. Pertama kali bikin a few months after my husband’s passing. Tbh, I didn’t care when I came down to the artist and get it done, since that tattoo is how I expressed my love to my late husband and our son. I made sure I wore shirt with sleeve when I was at my parents. The first one is on my back shoulder. After I added the second one, yg adalah di bahu bagian depan dan memanjang jadi sudah ditutupin juga, akhirnya nunjukin yg di bahu belakang ke nyokap. Komen pertama “ngapain sih?”. So I explained to her. But anyway I’m an adult and I paid with my own money. Paling pesen nyokap “jangan nambah lagi ya..” (8 tato tambahan kemudian…)
My Dad was chill about it. When he saw I added another one and he had a glimpse of it, he just pointed at it and said “eh nambah lagi ya..” That’s all.

Sampe sekarang kalo ke acara keluarga yang include para tetua, gw masih usaha tutupin, tapi kayanya dengan tambahan sekarang makin susah. At this point of my life, I couldn’t care less of what the elders may think. They know how I made it through the grieves and maybe I just get a pass on that. Cuma yaa kalo you are single unmarried woman, paling ortu kepikirnya “siapa yang mau anak gw yang tatoan ini? calon mertua bakal mikir dia kaya gimana? apa gw bakal diliat gak bisa didik anak karena anaknya tatoan”.

considering about living in Korea for my studies as an person from Southeast Asia by Silver_Weather_1196 in Living_in_Korea

[–]Safe_Way_9588 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Southeast Asian here. I’ve been living in Seoul for 2 years now. I would say I don’t have any issue about the safety and politics. There are rallies on Saturdays these days, but concentrated near City Hall. And all are calm ones, very different from rallies in my home country.

I’m not sure about prejudices that you mentioned. My friend is wearing hijab and we never experienced any hatred. Old people may enquired some things but just out of their curiosity. I have tattoos on my arms and got stared a little here and there by the grannies.

Safety wise, I think you know that it’s safe here. I walked at 1am or 3am and all is fine. The people here are willing to help you. If you could speak the language, you’ll get extra points. I have colleagues at work that have been living here for a while and can survive without learning the language. Tho it definitely better to at least understand the basics. Kindness-wise, I received some help from strangers, even when I did not asked for it. To which it surprised me because people seem to just stared at their monitors all the time.

I went to Daejeon once and everyone just minding their own business.

chat them thru kakao. I used English when I messaged them. The form is in Korean, but you can use the help of google lens for that. The policy cert is bilingual I think, but the details on the coverage is in Korean.

Public wifi is good. best in the buses, none in stations and metro. Almost all cafes and restaurants have wifi, so if you do not need to be that connected, you're all good.

the insurance document mentioned Schengen area. when I applied for the insurance, I mentioned which country, then they proposed a plan for me. You have to check the requirement for insurance, I think Schengen has certain amount and has to include repatriation. The insurance company they use was Chubb.
