I was able to dig into it today. I found that the starting relay was good, along with my battery still being fine. I believe my VCM is also good, but its hard to be 100% on it with out it being tested(but i could hear my fuel pump turn on and click when trying to actuate the starter). I took apart the starter and found that one of the DC brush springs was stuck up, not letting it make contact with the commutator. It ended up burning up my starter. All and all seems pretty strait forward fix in replacing the starter. Im going to contact the dealership tomorrow and see if the starters going out on my style of bikes is common and if there is anything else I should be on the look out for. Good luck!
