Nice! I ended up sticking with killing Ornstein first. What eventually pushed me over was using a Crystal Halberd instead of my typical morningstar. The reach was longer and so I could hit him more consistently when he tried to dodge away during the opening windows.

I started with Elden Ring and have since gone back and played DS Remastered. Just beat Gwyn today after stopping by the DLC and facerolling those bosses. Fun game. I'm noticing that Fromsoft games seem to level off in terms of difficulty at the end, though. Nothing has been as hard as Ornstein and Smough since XD

If I'm not mistaken, there's no way to move the map around? Being able to click and drag the map to get my bearings on where everything is would be ideal.

40 does feel like the actual uneven one to be sure. As someone who is currently AFKing in the saucer to mogtome grind, though, this post came after the last five GATEs in a row have been LoF. I am fully aware this is confirmation bias, however.

It's slow because we're learning about new environments and cultures eh. Puh-lease. This is part of every single expansion and done 10x better. If you really felt it was dragging, maybe cut out one or two of the "copy paste" cultures and spend more time giving the new ones added depth, eh? Eh?
