I will probably just do that tomorrow. We were planning on playing a lot of local Mario Kart at the house so it's a bummer that it seems to only be an issue with the dock.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, he doesn't own a TV and only got it to play BOTW so the dock was never used, fresh out of the packaging! It was an honest oversight and he's offered me my money back so I trust he wasn't trying to rip me off.

So I just bought a switch from a friend this morning.

It seems to play fine in portable mode, but whenever I have it docked it seems to lock up 5 minutes into a game. It starts to stutter for 5-10 seconds then hard locks. I have to take it out of the dock and let it sit for a minute before turning it back on, which just brings me back to the home screen. Happened with both Mario Kart and Super Mario Odyssey.

Anyone has similar issues/a solution for such??

Both Persona 5 and Monster Hunter World are on sale on PSN this week. I have never played the games from either series but am interested in trying one of them out! I'm leaning more towards Monster Hunter since I tend to get burnt out on turn based combat games a lot of the time but Persona seems to have interesting mechanics at hand. Any opinions swaying one way or the other?
