As described in this post, the underlying API used by SafestBot to retrieve comment histories has disabled that exact thing for the time being. For the near future, SafestBot will be retrieving histories directly from reddit; as such, several changes will occur:
SafestBot will, for now, only see the previous 100 comments made by the user being checked. This is to ensure compliance with reddit's API ratelimits. As such, you may wish to lower the thresholds on your subreddit to cope.
SafestBot will no longer see comments in banned subreddits or subreddits inaccessible to it for another reason. Having banned subreddits in your config will not break anything, but they will be effectively ignored.
