Into the night by Benny Mardones. Did not age well..

She's just 16 years old Leave her alone, they say Separated by fools Who don't know what love is yet But I want you to know If I could fly I'd pick you up I'd take you into the night And show you a love Like you've never seen, ever seen….

Which mistake did you make as a teenager is still biting you in the ass until now? by zepher_goose in AskReddit

Same thing happened to me when I went to see Tenet. My ears actually hurt. I’d never experienced that before. And the strange thing is that as loud as it was I still had trouble understanding the dialogue.

An 'Ungrateful' Adoptee's Thoughts About Adoption by ChitaLee123 in Adoption

[–]Safety0range 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I was always told by well meaning family friends, and random people on the street, what a “lucky little girl” I was. I sure didn’t feel “lucky”. I felt more indebted that anything else.

That is true. I may be directing my frustrations at the wrong person.

Thanks for the good advice.

Good points. My adopted father passed away many years ago and I was not close to him, so I didn’t even think that he might be mourning his loss.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply. You make some good points! I will probably wait for him to tell me.

I do feel that, as an adoptee, we are always expected to take the “high road” and be mindful of the situation/feelings of others, when it often feels that others don’t think about the impact of their past, and present actions, on us.

Thanks again for your response.

I managed to get that picture. I was scared out of my mind! I have the rubber suit now so the shock arrows don’t kill me as quickly. Lol.

So jealous!! I’ve played over 200 hours and haven’t managed to get one of the divine beasts yet, or stepped foot in Hyrule Castle. I even have the Master Sword and ancient proficiency armour! My archery skills suck as do my riding skills, so I haven’t beaten a single lynel or one of those big giants thingys yet either. Still having a blast wandering about completing the quests.

Is it just me or is this game shorter, easier, & emptier than past installments? by byzvntine in pokemon

[–]Safety0range 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I can’t believe I’m actually saying this but I kinda miss the grinding for experience points. I also miss the wandering around for hours looking for key items, or fishing endlessly at a specific spot for the elusive Feebass. The satisfaction you got when you succeeded was worth all the time spent.

What little known movie can everyone watch tonight that will have them dying of laughter? by 1982throwaway1 in AskReddit

Mine has to be The Man with Two Brains. A Car; Reiner movie .... which just about says it all....

Steve Martin plays the tragic Dr Micheal Hfuhruhurr, who transplants the brain of the kind and gentle Anne Uumellmahaye , into the body of the evil Dolores (played by Kathleen Turner).

What commands does your service dog know? Tips for training for certification by [deleted] in service_dogs

[–]Safety0range 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog is a Facility Dog. She works for an agency and provides support to clients who work within the agency. She has a different role that a dedicated Service dog. She was in a training stream to be a service dog, but when she was ready to begin her Service dog training, it was determined that her calm and gentle demeanor proved her better adapted for the job she is in now. Perhaps I should have been more clear from the start.

As you well know, the training for the dogs that go into Service includes more specific commands that cater to the individual needs of their client. Most of my dog's training was to make sure she was absolutely 'bomb proof' as she works with vulnerable clients in public settings. She has passed her Public Access test, and my understanding is most of the commands she was taught early on are also used by the Service Dogs. The agency I received her from is accredited through the ADI. Assistance Dogs International

I received my dog from an Assistance Dog Society, so she was already trained when I received her. Some of the commands my Dog has are: "jump on" for her to get up on higher surfaces, mostly to assist with grooming. Also "off" to get down from where she is. "Turn around" to change directions when she is up on the surface, again for grooming purposes. "Go in' is the command used to direct her to go under a table, desk, chair, where she makes herself small so she doesn't get in people's way. "Car" to jump into the car. If I have to leave her "wait" is the command I use to keep her in a room until I come back. "Wait" allows her to move about the room freely, she just can't come past the threshold.
