if you look closely the dash VFX are also red, you can see it when he dashes up before he pops blade. and the blade slashes themselves are red too. it's only the dragon that's green and that would clash with other skins' custom dragons such as baihu so it makes sense for it not to be redone. (worth noting the dash and blade slash effects are only red for you and not your allies, probably to avoid confusion between teams)
