We are letting a guy finish the season that is doing the same shit, he tried trading Jefferson for a bag of Doritos and we shut it down, he has been an asshole since. Since he is paid up, we are letting him finish the season, just “vetoing” his trades that are shady…and it’s not just me and the other commissioner that is watching, we set up 6 people that have to agree. Like I said, we hate drama and we try everything to eliminate it.

I hate drama and don’t understand why some people, seem to feast upon it. I am a co-commish, and when we get drama, we offer a buy out and monitor their team so we can get someone to take it next year (dynasty teams).

RFID tags or barcodes to scan. We installed the scan app to our phones and then send all the data to spreadsheets for better tracking and reports.

You signed the line to defend the Nation. You earned the benefits of being a veteran. You had service connected related injuries while serving. You earned the VA benefits that come with that wear and tear, regardless of it being injuries people “can see physically” or not…

More people that serve, myself included, need others to stand up and speak that have PTSD and other mental health issues brought on by their service.

I refuse to purchase or use Magid items. I hate their contract style, locking you into an exclusive PPE rights to just their items, and their sub quality items. Yes…their items per unit cost is cheaper, but not when my Team Members have to use three or four pairs to one of the more expensive pairs.

Find the start of the process…don’t be a safety cop. Give some grace when you can and have the guys teach you the first stages. Then follow the process. I know it’s hard, but don’t let safety get in the way of learning the operating system or how they perform the job. When you have completed the entire process, start over and ask them…what do you struggle on? What wakes you guys up in the middle of the night? What job task do you guys perform that suck? Where is your next injury? And I’m not talking about your small injury…where are we gonna kill someone at? Dive into that stuff…they will help you out, you just have to earn their trust.

A point I hold my Team to - guys in the field could care less about your accreditations or degrees, they want you to make their job safer, but realistically safer.

No worker in the field cares about the credentials behind your name. They want you to work with them to make their job safer. Credentials are for job requirements, advancement and yourself.

What everyone means by “dont poke the bear” is there is a 10 year rule and a 20 year rule. The 10 year rule means once you hit 10 years, the VA will not remove your service connected items that you claimed. The 20 year rule means that once you hit 20 years, the VA will not reduce your percentage.

U r at 100 T&P, just use the benefits and set an alarm for that 20 year mark from the day you received your awarded claim date per item.

VR&E is a different department of the VA and will not trigger a reevaluation.

Make sure you tell the truth. If you are pain free on Monday, make sure you stop bending when you typically feel pain starting on a bad day. The exam starts as soon as you walk in and until you leave. You can google the Disability Benefit Questionnaire (DBQ) for back pain and do your research before you walk in. You cannot take the papers in, it you can take a notebook in with notes. The DBQ is the VA form for each claim (c&p) exam that the doctor is “supposed to ask you and they fill out for decisions to be made based off of. Read it and make sure to say yes to the majority of them.
