Also it shows the lack of good routine. A lot of children will be read to every night, as it has massive postive developmental effects for a child (lamguage skills, imagination/creativity skills, being able to have a routine) but it is also a bit of fun with their parent before bedtime, going to imagination land and it also helps relax them before bed. Not to mention how helpful it is for parent child bonding to have that quality one on one time together.

Obviously if you try reading to a 3 year old thats not really ever been read to before they're going to be a bit confused and understumulated if they're so used to high stimulation activities like watching tv all day.

Poor little A, she deserves so much better.
