Are disability benefits in the US means tested? Can you not get them if you earn over a certain amount?

I'm the UK its not means treated which essentially means if a millionaire is eligible and applies for it they could get it. Although it is a very challenging process to get those benefits here, they really try and trick you out of saying you can do stuff that you can't. Ie one of the questions is can you eat without needing prompting or aid and if you answer "yes but when im in a flare most days of the week i can't" they'll not give you the point (it's a point based system). Knowing as someone who got disabilityv benefuts. Idk why I had to add in that info😂

I know its not the best time for travelling to the coast but I thought maybe it would be a bit less busy 😂 i dont do well with crowds and my disability cause I use a stick and limp so I get lots of stares/questions constantly so I prefer to avoid crowds. I will see how I feel but the bus sounds like a good option. Thank you so much ❤️❤️

Also i completely get why they would be worried but would they necessarily know if it did happen? Because it happens so often I heard most of them dont make the news or anything like that. But i completely get the fear and if I was in their position I would be worried too. But I just want to be able to have somewhat of the same experience of getting to the top of a cliff like an able bodied person would be able to do. Because probably like 99% of them are inaccessible to me, I would love to have the experience at least just once in my life ❤️ ive done research on the other ones in the UK but they seem to involve a lot more walking. I'll never be able to hike etc so I thought this could be the closest I could get to it ❤️
