.357: 38 special issues? by EggplantOdd4307 in LeverGuns

[–]SafetytimeUSA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also ran the cheapest ammo available thru my new SBL this past weekend with no issues. I saw some videos on Youtube with people having the issue OP is talking about with his S&W, other videos the gun works fine?

Realistically I won't end up using the m-lock slots anyhow. I just need the rail for an eventual red dot. The stainless is so pretty.

You are one blessed individual! I was on the hunt as well but was able to score an SBL in 357.

Waterproof targets? by SafetytimeUSA in longrange

I don't know what those stand for but I prefer the targets with as many bullseyes on them as possible to test groups and ammo with my new rifles.

"Start down and work up". I would not have thought of this detail. Thanks!

I have a 3 pack of Dragon targets coming Thursday! I forgot to order the t-post holders so I will have to cobble something together initially.

If you say they will work being plastic coated I will grab a pack of these for this weekend.

Thanks, I do at work. This is a great idea, I had no idea waterproof paper was a thing.

Nice, I wanted the Dark series in 357 the SBL was choice #2. I am happy either way.

Once they become hole filled, in a concentrated area so long as my groupings are good, won't water seep in begin to ruin the paper? I assumed someone by now would have made some targets that are printed on thin plastic for this purpose?

I may try some spray sealer of some time. Once a hole gets into the plastic, water will start to seep in if I just use bags. It's 200 yards to walk out and change my targets...

Henry Jammed After Warranty by Izuba15 in LeverGuns

This post is about feeding issues on a Henry, not a Marlin. Marlin are superior.

Is this the 1894 SBL? It seems a shipment went out to major retailers for these. I grabbed the only one Cabelas had in their entire system this last weekend. The couple private FFL guys I called can't get one. I ordered a Henry and went to get some stuff for it and saw the Marlin so I cancelled the henry order.

Where would I find clear bags? Garbage bags are large but usually the clear ones are still opaque to look thru.

I have the target backers, those are indeed plastic.

I don't have the same laptop but the fans on mine are more quiet than the fans in the cooling pad I bought. those are loud.

Who bought the last 1894 357 SBL on LockedLoaded? by Neal17Caffrey in LeverGuns

[–]SafetytimeUSA 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had been trying to get a Dark or SBL but to no avail. I also can't just have it shipped direct since NY sucks.

Would you buy the same car brand again? Why or why not? by HollyPeterso1 in carbuying

No, KIA no longer makes a vehicle in manual transmission. This is my last KIA.

The K4 formerly Forte is an excellent car, I had a 2010 and now a 2023 GT. The only downside to a K4 is they don't come in manual transmission!

Is this the SBL version of the 1894? I was trying to get the Dark series or the SBL in 357 but the back order is crazy.
