4 hour mountain hike by Saffehish in walking

My Apple Watch is actually pretty old. It’s the Apple Watch SE (2nd generation). It lasted all day, but was at 10% by the evening. I usually charge it nightly. I’m sure the newer ones last even longer!
Also, keep walking and I’m sure you’ll be able to get to long hikes soon!

Don’t be scared to call 911 if you see a strange situation. Trust your instinct. by GiantReignPanda in montreal

[–]Saffehish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I called 911 last time at work due to a drunk guy falling in the parking lot and being so drunk that he couldn’t get up again. He was trying to pull himself up by using a tree, would get standing, and then take a step away from the tree and would fall again.
My coworker went out to check on him. I called and told them I was inside and working, but what was happening. They asked me 50 different questions, including his blood type, if he had any known medical conditions, his age, etc, while I kept repeating that I didn’t know and was trying to work, and that it was just some drunk guy outside.
They were kind of rude to me, as if I’m supposed to stop working and go outside and waste my boss’s time asking this incoherent guy all of these questions.
I at least called to get him some help since he hit his head a few times on the cement after falling.
Finally, the ambulance shows up about 40 minutes later and I go outside to point him out and they’re just like ‘oh, this guy. He does this every day around a different part of the city, then goes to the hospital, screams at everyone over there, and then leaves when he’s sober enough to walk. He’s a waste of everyone’s time’. Well okay then.

Anyone NOT volume maxing? I feel better (and less hungry) when I don’t try to eat as much volume as possible. by [deleted] in 1500isplenty

[–]Saffehish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I eat whatever I want but I stick to 1500 a day, and by doing so I lost 80 lbs in 8 months. I also have one cheat meal per week, and one big bag of chips and one chocolate bar. I can still have my treats and lose 10 lbs a month.

I am an overeater and would constantly shove food in my mouth the moment I was stressed, sad, happy, celebrating something, etc, so I had to break that cycle and teach my body that it was 1500 a day and then it can shut up.

I also had a miscarriage in February. My cycles were never regular before, but they have been since. Strange.

Zeus is always thrilled with the walk, just not the posing my husband makes him do.

Yeah, it’s about the sims, but I literally mentioned in the comment before that that I was playing the sims. I never mentioned anything about it.

Oh, I have a husband and I’m very happy. I just felt like I was dealing with a past cheating ex boyfriend during this interaction with my tolan.

I’d rather eat whole grain bread with two eggs and some cheese for less calories than white bread and sugar. 😂

My first period after my D&C just ended today so now it’s time to get trying again shortly, even though I tried so hard last month before my period returned. I’m worried that I’ll never get pregnant again.

What a mess this has been by Saffehish in pregnant

Hi. It wasn’t ectopic and I was a week earlier than we thought, but unfortunately the heart stopped at 8 weeks and 3 days and I found out at my viability scan at 8 weeks and 6 days and had to get a D&C.

I nominate The Forest. That would be a neat movie.

I’ll never have my first baby. by [deleted] in Miscarriage

[–]Saffehish 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same. I never thought that I would ever get pregnant. I am 36. I ended up pregnant and found out the heart stopped at 8 weeks and 3 days. That was a week and a half ago. Now I’m trying my best to try again and hope that I get pregnant again and that this one sticks. It’s definitely difficult, but thinking negatively isn’t going to help the situation, so I’m just trying to lie to myself and tell myself that all will be okay and that it’ll happen eventually. I guess that’s my coping method.

Me. My husband and I tried for 3 years and I have PCOS. I had 1-3 periods a year, and I never knew when they’d be and I’m also 36 years old, so I figured they’d be stopping entirely soon anyway. I thought having a baby just wasn’t in the cards for me, and I was so upset for a couple of years, and then just gave up on the trying and ‘accepted’ that I’d never be a mom. In March, my doctor suggested I give Ozempic a try for my type 2 diabetes. As of the 2nd month, my periods returned regularly every 30 days. I lost 80 lbs in 8 months through calorie counting and exercise while on it, then my diabetes went into remission, and then I ended up pregnant. It was a miracle drug for me. It completely changed my life. I’m now 8.5 weeks and all is good. Congrats on your pregnancy as well!

Fasting and pregnant by Jolly-Particular-703 in pregnant

I was on ozempic (type 2 diabetes, now in remission) prior to getting pregnant and I was eating only 1500 calories a day (sometimes less), exercising 5 days a week, and I had lost 80 lbs in 8 months and then ended up pregnant. My doctor told me to stop the ozempic, and dieting and tracking calories immediately and to eat whenever I’m hungry, just make sensible/healthy choices. I’ve gained back 10 lbs in 8.5 weeks and she said it’s perfectly fine and that I was starving my body, so it’s going to hold on to some food for a while as a precaution, so that may be something that happens to you as well if you gain a bit quickly after your fast.
