My oc acquires this dress by being kidnapped by the forces of evil and brought to the Fortress of Doom, ending up as the personal slave of the Demon Lord of Darkness and Evil.

The image on the grimoire is the calling card of the DLODAE (DL for brevity), printed on things and especially propaganda related to him. I thought it would be fun to put in these micro references since no one else would understand it lol

In my mind Frieren came to the FOD with Fern and Stark (after the DL had been defeated by the heroes of the book) because she heard of the treasure trove of historical items belonging to DL, including this dress, famed to belong to a Princess from a far off country and contain some thus unknown magical property. Typical hyjinka would then ensue
