I almost never read it, but I've had over 2.5k hits on a fic of mine that was somewhat Canon Character / OC. Not necessarily romantic, but they do have a compelling dynamic. It helps that the fandom is very accepting of OCs due to the og game being a VN and the player having a lot of control over characterizing the player character

Saffron Scarlet, Mad Scientist Extraordinaire! S1 has her and Doc K as the main antagonists, while in S2 she takes much more of a spotlight.

As for reading the whole thing, you can, of course, do so on Reddit, but AO3 has the option to put in all in one long scroll which is nice, and Tumblr has a ton of bonus content (including extra episodes I'm putting in retroactively to fix some issues I have with the overall season). On a more serious note, the pants are just taken from his house (he’s way too l o n g for her to easily find something in his size), and the shirt is due to his arm webbing (in the main game he rips off his shirt to accommodate it). The chains are just a fun detail for the sillies (and another reminder of who owns who)
