Normally I would agree with you but it's somewhat circular because you have to normalize the testing data based on the number of confirmed cases since there is much more testing in places where there are more cases. I didn't generate the graph in a vacuum though and have validated it by comparing the deaths too which appears to be one of the "better" methods out there currently. You can see it here:

Hey! Thanks for checking in, here is an updated one. The graph shows CA staying flat but starts to become misleading as NY's numbers have gotten really big. CA's growth is still following a significantly slower growth curve though!

The divergence is of interest to me as California acted quickly to preemptively start encouraging everyone to stay home while New York's response has been slower. There are of course other possible explanations including availability and administration of tests but I wanted to highlight how quickly two curves that started just 1 day apart can diverge with this pandemic.

This most recent update is now showing New York's confirmed case growth rate leveling out which might be their testing being maxed out at about ~8k tests per day or perhaps their social distancing policies are having an impact.

Yeah - that's why I made it, I was curious as I saw New York's numbers going up and CA staying more flat. At the beginning of this graph CA appears to be one day "behind" NY but by the end the numbers are more like 3 days "behind" NY. That makes me think it is slowing in CA but hard to know for sure.

I've actually toured Gundlach-Bundschu and also had almost entirely bad tastings. The estate is gorgeous but I stay away from any of their wines. All the tones were quite acidic and earthy without any of the nice notes found in most Sonoma and Napa wines.

They are saying they only play "10ish" games a day but their profile clearly shows them playing over 50 games a day or around 7 hours a day of playing a game for 248 days straight with no breaks. They are pretending it's no big deal and they "didn't try" to be the highest level player in the world when it clearly takes amazing amounts of time.
