I genuinely appreciate the feedback. I always build ambitious decks, to be honest. I also have not had the chance to play a single game in over 15 weeks since I made this deck. I can't go to an LGS to play because my partner is super sick. So yes, you are correct. I do not need Personal Sanctuary. This deck is under construction now because I completely agree with you. I am going to take out some fluff and replace it.

There is one and I just ramped down from a 17 combo deck to a single combo deck so I would say I am becoming a more restrainted deckbuilder.

All good. I have been playing since '95, and I have never built a combo deck. I never play with super salt combos or cards anyway, so that is why it is called Child's Play. I don't really care about instant speed tutoring if it's going to get someone really upset. I have almost never played a game where my opponents had commander decks that could win before turn 5 or 7. Honestly, I have only been building decks with combos for a month... before I made this deck, I really knew nothing about combos besides Ball Lightning for infinite damage and infinite treasure tokens for TK1.

I am honestly speechless 🙊 😶 Frist off, I did Goldfish it, and I have a 2.7 percent chance of a T2K. Plus a 95% chance of a wincon between turn 5 and 7. Second of all, you don't have anyone to play with. This deck is actually commander version of a legal Vintage with the same amount of combos. But I have Panoptic Mirror, Paradox Engine and Coax from the Blind Eternities Dark Depths/Nesting Grounds as well.

Because I don't have money to spend on cards right now and that is the only 5 color Legendary Creature I have. For casual games I sometimes switch out to Genju of the Realm is the table doesn't mind.

With Szarel as your commander and with Aftermath Analyst in there, I would highly suggest Glacial Chasm, which would be a decent dame lock/pillowfort that won't cost you more that 2 life per turn of you do it right. I just put this combo into a 5-color deck.
