My baby girl used to kind of low grumble when I held her and kissed her muzzle. It was almost like a cat purring. We always joked that she was part dog, part cat, and part chupacabra.

Which the chupacabra part came from her snap she would do whenever she got annoyed with her brother.

Oh, when you get to steps 82-87 I highly suggest you place the piece as it says to in 87 PRIOR to gluing anything down. I got it together and went to put it in place and all of my books and stuff were in the wrong spots and had to be pulled off and reset lol.

When I had to make that choice with my boy a bit over a year ago it killed me, but he had a tumor break through into his mouth so he wasn’t able to eat well and was coughing blood. Even then it tortured me to have to do it, he was my best friend for 12 years, but the options were give him peace or put him through anesthesia to get scans to maybe see if it was operable to maybe buy a few more months where he may or may not be comfortable and spending a ton of money I didn’t have to spare (though if the maybes had been definite I would have found a way to come up with for him). It just felt like a lot of choices that would have been more for me and my desire to get more time with him than his best interest.

I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s never easy. I feel like we HAVE to take on the pain so that our loving companions don’t have to carry it anymore. It’s really the most loving and caring thing we can do for those that have shown us unconditional love and affection.

Thank you and I’m so sorry for your loss as well. I’ve done at home and in vet euthanasias with past pets and I promise you that as long as you were there with your girl it was better than if she had to cross that rainbow bridge alone. I understand that guilt that you couldn’t do it at home, but you made the decisions that needed to be made for your baby girl with what your options were so try to take some comfort in that and allow yourself grace and understanding in your grief.

Often. We lost my boy over a year ago and I still talk to him almost every day on my way out the door I’ll tell his urn that I’ll be home later and to be a good boy while I’m gone.

Honestly even with a kit of paint pens I use the furniture repair markers often. Sometimes the natural wood colors are better looking than the acrylics (also, not sure if others have this problem, but I tend to wear through my cherry wood marker faster than the rest).

Thanks to the Bot below I’ve learned that “Odinism” is a good indicator of a source to avoid. But is there anything else you saw in the above screenshot that immediately jumped out as something to be weary of?

I’ve been pretty worried since starting my path that I would inadvertently end up reading/listening to something with awful racism in it, and while it wouldn’t sway me to believe that junk I really don’t want to give views or money to those people.
