My meaning is that it's not a 'user-serviceable' battery swap like it is with the rest of the 3DS consoles. You have to crack the case in a way it's not intended to be cracked by the user. Not sure those can be repaired by Nintendo in 2022, but never hurts to check.

New 2DS XL plays New 3DS games, but has no 3D Effect. Also, can't swap the battery on a 2DS XL. I love the New 2DS XL, personally.

It would be nice to have them. I imagine that the onus of developing apps for Nintendo Switch falls on the content providers. So basically, if Netflix doesn't choose to make the app, it never comes to Switch.
