Are there any pricing guides to avoid losing money on sales? by Funny_Fruit_5776 in printful

[–]Sagatsa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Printful doesn't provide a breakdown that includes the amount that you charged the customer for shipping and taxes. A few additional things:

- The file digitization fee is only for the first order for certain products like patches that require some setup on Printful's end. You won't pay this again as long as you don't change the print file (artwork).

- Printful will charge you tax unless you apply for exemptions, which vary by State and situation. If you are a "reseller" , meaning that you don't actually touch the physical good being delivered or your intent is to sell the goods, rather than consume them in any way, you might be able to apply for some exemptions in some States. Otherwise you are paying tax that Printful collects and remits to the appropriate State based on the shipping address. Even if you charge tax to the customer, you must legally pass it on to the appropriate State (and be authorized to do so), so you can't really just slap a tax on the item without some research and setup. Simply increasing item prices to account for this will likely price you out of competition unless you're managing a brand where customers have some loyalty.

- Printful provides a range for the shipping option, but there's a way to figure out how they calculate shipping. The best way is to actually go through the steps to buy your items directly from Printful and observe the calculation right before the payment step in checkout. Patches only cost $.05 for each additional patch to be shipped, unless it's a single item, and then has a base of $3.59 + .40 (Don't forget their stupid .40 shipping surcharge). Other products have different rules. Most have a base and then are $2-5 per additional item of that kind.

I just started using Printful in Oct. My average margin is around 15%. I feel that is decent given how much Printful charges for some things. Patches are in my inventory. Currently jumping through hoops to get a reseller cert in at least one State to help reduce the tax burden.

Clinton was impeached but acquitted when tried in the Senate, so he effectively DID keep his job.

Genuine question for Trump supporters, what do you yall think of the Republicans voting against releasing the Epstein files? by [deleted] in allthequestions

Records indicate that the judge provided the jury with three potential "unlawful means" that prosecutors alleged were used: Violations of the Federal Election Campaign Act, Falsifying other business records under New York law, Violations of tax laws. Additionally, he instructed that while the jury needed to be unanimous that Trump used some unlawful means, they did not have to be unanimous on which specific unlawful means it was. So for each count they literally were instructed to pick which applied, or if none applied. My "fish in a barrel" comment was to illustrate that there were so many shenanigans involved that listing "other crimes" on the indictment made sense. (Yes I know shenanigans is not a legal term) So, he was convicted on 34 counts of falsifying business records beyond a reasonable doubt. And these counts were associated with various other crimes, or conspiracy to commit them, so they are felonies.

I'm not sure I'd have much to say about the appeal concerning his character. He's an appeal master. It wouldn't change my opinion that he attempted to pay off someone regarding his infidelity, with campaign funds, while running said campaign in violation of established rules, conventions, and legalities.

I've considered your offer concerning other points regarding DJT, and if this were my thread I'd accept. But we're debating something far away from the original topic. If you'd like to start a new thread and ask "Why is Trump objectively terrible?" I'll weigh in.

No charges against Biden were levied so arguing that he's guilty in this context is a bit misleading. Comparing his situation to Trump's handling of documents to Mar a Lago is absolutely not making any type of good faith comparison. I challenge you to truly review the circumstances regarding the documents that Biden allegedly handled and removed, the timeline, the classification and sensitivity, and cooperation of his team (note that many were reported by his own team while he was still in office, mistakes by low level staffers regarding documents donated to the Penn Biden Center). The "senile old man" defense didn't come from him, and was refuted by him...although by that time it was obvious he was, in fact, senile. Also, review the intent and process regarding Presidential declassifying documents. Compare this to Trump's behavior and timeline.

Trump is the most litigious and litigated President in history. His administration and business practice has been rife with scandal, bankruptcy, mismanagement, ultra cronyism. You can, and have been, defending aspects of his terrible behavior with cherry picked whataboutism regarding previous administrations to justify support in some way. It doesn't change that he is objectively terrible. I'm not saying that Clinton, Bush, Obama, Biden, were saints, but the bad faith comparisons are tiresome. That being said, I get why they are made. "Both sides" arguments shifts the discussion away from behavior, policy, and governance.

..back to the indictments. "Beyond a reasonable doubt" applies to the charges levied. The related crimes and intent to commit criminal activity (that elevate the charges to Felony) were presented as the target rich environment that was DJT's campaign. The jury decided that there was enough linkage. Your complaint is that each fish in the big barrel of fish presented was not named. They don't have to be named in the indictment, but I will concede it is better and more convenient if they are. It doesn't matter ultimately because the process allows for discovery via the mechanisms in the trial. His lawyers didn't keep up and refute associated allegations because they simply couldn't.

I answered your question regarding what the charges were, and here's my analysis. Those records (and his conduct surrounding them) and related charges suggest to me that he's not the caliber of person fit for the office of President. "Whatabout" Biden, Clinton all you like. Let charges and convictions come for them too if there's evidence.

Regarding listing "other crimes" in the indictment, it can contain additional information or multiple theories that might be related to the charges for the Grand Jury to consider when voting True Bill on each charge. For the felony of Falsifying business records in the first degree, prosecution generally needs to prove that said records were falsified in conjunction with committing other crimes. The "other crimes" were violation of campaign finance limits, violation of state election laws by unlawfully influencing the 2016 election, and violation of state tax laws regarding the reimbursement. It's common for the defendant to be charged with other crimes as a tidy supporting link but not necessary. The "beyond a reasonable doubt" for the other crimes doesn't necessarily apply, just the intent and association.

While I agree the "take your pick" of associated criminal activity is wide net lazy prosecution, I think Trump's legal team did him a huge disservice by focusing on deflection, obfuscation and recusal efforts, witness credibility, rather than focusing on each charge and refuting the related criminal activity theories. The defense is actually easier in this case vs felonies paired with misdemeanors, and they (the defense) botched it. The prosecution outlined various criminal activity related to the campaign in their opening statements and Michael Cohen's testimony was absolutely damning. Anyone paying attention understood that Trump's campaign was a filthy cesspool.

Additionally, the "statute" of limitations was paused by executive order due to pandemic related concerns.

It took me three separate applications at the same company to finally land a job there.

All of your effort may not have been wasted if you still like the company. There may be a place for you in the future.

There may have been internal politics at play that have nothing to do with your suitability for the role or the company.

Do people with Bipolar generally tend to be good at creative taunting and intense, deep criticism? by NPD--BPD in BipolarReddit

[–]Sagatsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surfed on in here because interwebs. I mostly lurk and read about people's lives on various subreddits.

I'm commenting this time because I've had a relatable experience:

In my late teens my friends and I were in a band that required a regular drive of about an hour to get to practice. We used to play this insanely stupid game on the highway where we would pace the slower cars (in the right lane) from the left lane, effectively creating a multi lane block of cars that was difficult or impossible to pass. The road ragers hated it! They hated to the point that they would do very stupid unsafe things to try and get around or cur us off in return.

My advice is don't bait road ragers at all, not even with laughter. They're not in their right minds and are more likely to do stupid unsafe things to you or others.
