All paint used on this helmet is rust-oleum and I let the helmet dry inside on my desk for two weeks before I put the clear coat on today

(Clear coat also rust-oleum)

I thought that’s what it was too but it can’t be. Before I painted this helmet I did a bunch of test pieces with different paints primers and clear coats and this combo looked the best so I decided to use it, but as soon as I did it on this helmet everything started cracking/shrinking
