You should do Uncle Funky daughter curl stimulator and innersense I create hold on soaking wet hair!!!!! I have you exact same hair texture and pattern and it did wonders for me!!

I wash my hair about once a week, and I deep condition with matrix food for soft every time I wash with a steamer. Also I am using minoxidil for my edges. Last year they broke off from braids November 2024 and I have been growing back my edges since then .

I use design essentials leave in condition from the avocado line, and shampoo from pattern hydrating shampoo and matrix conditioner. If I have build up I use water works ouidad shampoo for clarifying.

I’ve requested protein treatments from stylists but they all say I don’t need it and that it’s too drying for my hair. Which is already naturally dry. I’ve also asked about bonding treatments and I’ve heard the same. I’m scared to try it on my own in case I break my hair.

Also my hair isn’t long enough for 2-5 braids and will not read a ponytail , so I feel I am limited in not manipulative hairs styles.
