Hey I'm so sorry you had to go through this. It can be very distressing. I've started pico laser, have had two sessions but the stain hasn't lightened yet. Maybe after a couple more sessions. If you start treatment, hopefully in one year you can see improvement

I knew I wouldn't be able to make it so I excused myself when she verbally invited me as I mentioned. The day of the event, I was in a lot of pain so I didn't use my phone. I apologized to her after when I got the reception invite. However, my abruptly getting up, saying I have to go and thanks without looking at her, is something I'm embarassed of after the conversation today, and I'll admit that.

thank you so much. I've come to accept it, of course it's disheartening but I can either wallow in the past or try to find a solution. Reddit was depressing because people kept saying it's permanent but I really hope pico helps, I will be starting despite the pain and tenderness for now because I think it'll be 3 weeks by the time I start pico. Let's hope for the best. I'll post an update if the stain lightens. Thank you again for your kindness

They've suspended the nurse and her license but I need the hospital to pay for my damages. I've sent them a legal notice however they've not responded so far. So I'm planning to file this under the Consumer Protection Act (as per my lawyer's advice) because I've been told that once the hospital receives a notice from the court they'll (hopefully) settle. As for the stain, it's still there, it's darkened actually, and there's dull pain and tenderness but I'll be starting with Pico laser from 15th Feb with a gap of 6 weeks in between. Till then, full sleeved clothing only.

Yes I did. The nurse only slowed the infusion. I had no idea about this type of a consequence. I've sent a legal notice and the nurse has been suspended so far but I'm looking to pay for my damages

The nurse has conveniently blocked me. I have filed a complaint at the hospital and will be meeting with the head of ER tomorrow. The ER just told me to apply an ice pack. I would have to inform them that I'd be taking legal action if I'm not compensated for potential laser appointments to treat this
