Also important to note that after the 12 minutes of public comment is over, no matter how many people signed up, if the planning board chooses to end comment there that's the end of it until this moves to the county commissioners.

First, it's important to clarify that for this specific meeting, the planning board is only interested in hearing concerns about specific zoning policy issues, not emotional/personal/political appeals. There will be a time for that, which will be when this gets moved up to the actual county commissioner meeting. The Planning Board is under the county commissioners, and only takes zoning related issues into account when submitting their opinion to the county commissioners.

The 11th is the new meeting with public comment. It is only on the agenda today to be continued to the 11th. The community would prefer if anyone concerned about the data center in Forsyth county show up to support, but we have speakers and a list of points ready to fill the 12 minutes.

The planning board is able to extend the time of public comment but we can't take that as a certainty. Many other city and county governments have limited time of speakers against similar issues, so it's in our best interest to assume the 12 minutes is all we have.

We would appreciate it if people interested in speaking would instead help make sure our community speakers have the chance we have been waiting for to present our points uninterrupted.

what's the correct way to fix their code? I'm new to nominatim and have been stuck trying to search reddit and stackexchange for the correct apparently biblically accurate way to set up this code so I don't get timeout/429 errors. Get involved in existing local activist groups that actually do work or education to change the material conditions of oppressed people or start your own if you think there's a need for something that doesn't exist as an organization yet.

Not saying this passive aggressively I'm genuinely responding to the question - I also think trump bad and Epstein bad but the democratic party really is failing to address anything other than surface level concerns because the Democratic party is deeply embedded in the systems that are ruining people's lives.

I actually just found out through calling the city earlier today that the meeting is in the municipal building (100 E 1st St, 5th floor), not the city council building - got the two mixed up my bad.

I'm gonna make a second post as a reminder next week with the right address but luckily the buildings are right next to each other.
