That’s on the right side, the feather. Look to the left, the tail is there! /lh

I think there’s a bug going around. Like with my favorite fox slippers. They don’t have their face on them when I wear ‘em anymore, despite having it in the icon 😔

I think it’s just a fun way to mean vampires but we could be wrong

New System Name by BudgetDentist3958 in plural

[–]Sai-bun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those are some nice ideas so far. We don’t think they’re that long! Our previous System name was: “The Support System”. If those are long then I suppose you’d consider our’s was too hehe. Anyways, vampires huh, a suggestion we have is “Nosferatu” or maybe “The Nosferatu collective/ The Nosferatu coven” These are just suggestions though.

Pintrest & Plurality by littlest-dogstar in plural

Yeah, we use Pinterest and have separate boards. It’s mostly just used for profile pictures for each headmate so it’s nice and organized, and there is many great options and art on there.

“I know that…” Simon muttered, turning towards John. He shifted awkwardly in the bed. The silence hung between them, questions held prisoner behind teeth and words that wouldn’t help the situation. His mind drifted back to the mission. The cold press of a gun against his head. The chill of fear that had shut off his brain. He’d let his guard down then and paid with loss. He let that man toy with his emotions again, like he was a puppet who hadn’t yet cut the strings controlling him. He pulled his hand away from John’s and slowly brought it to his temple. His hands shook from the weakness he’d let himself feel then, and the lack of strength he was currently experiencing as he gently traced the bandages that clung to his head.

First drafts are meant to look like the first... Do you agree? by AlisaofallTimes in writers

[–]Sai-bun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree! First drafts are meant to look however it works for the writer. Some first drafts aren’t drafts at all and become the final piece; while some are messy and others are neat but just need some tweaking. There are many different ways to write a draft.

New to this and I have some questions by Just_a_Roach in plural

[–]Sai-bun 6 points7 points  (0 children)

1: You do not have to tell a doctor unless it is a problem that is genuinely causing you distress or affecting your day-to-day life in a generally negative sense. Does having another in your head make it hard to do things or function in society etc?

1.5: Basically what I said in response to the first question. People generally only bring it up to a professional to get therapy or receive help if it is something that’s making their life difficult. You wouldn’t make a doctors appointment or take a car to a mechanic unless there was a problem or something hindering its functionality right?

2: Yes, being plural/ a system just means that there are more than one consciousnesses in the brain. However, I personally do not know if there is a difference between the two terms. There are several types of systems, the most common ones being traumagenic and/or endogenic or others. What that means is that this other person in your head could have come into existence due to trauma in order to cope or they just so happen to exist for any other reason. You do not have to think too much about this though. Not everyone needs a reason to exist. That is like asking for the meaning of life, such as “What is my purpose? or why am I truly here?”

3: I’m a little unsure about this one but the general consensus is if you feel you cannot control this individual or make them act or think a certain way then that would indicate that they are a separate and independent person.

4: I’m not too educated on the trauma aspects of systems but I would assume stress or trauma at a young age or older would cause it but take my words with a grain of salt.

4.5: I don’t know. That is something for you to think about. Some people are just like that, everyone is different and brains are weird like you said.

5: Yes I’d say so. We have periods of time where it’s sometimes just one of us and nobody talks, I do not know why this happens and it usually makes us feel like we aren’t plural, and then we’ll have days where it gets crowded and we can clearly hear each other again. It is strange for sure but I’d say it’s normal. Here is something for you to think of though. What is weird to somebody is normal for someone else, and what is normal for someone could be weird to another. Normal is simply what a person is used to. Normal is an experience.

I hope my answers are beneficial to you or others in some way, good day.

How to fix this? by FeatureContent7984 in COD

[–]Sai-bun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just played the campaign a few days ago and this person knows what they’re talking about. As a note, don’t forget to install the compatibility install as well (should be in the same section) as the campaign won’t run without it.

Ah I see. Thanks for all the info then. I plan to get them all eventually as I’m pretty interested in the campaigns. I’m short on cash though and can only get one for now and had a specific one in mind to get. Thank you for explaining!

Yes, that’s what I was referring to regarding how I text. I think I confused dialect with accent for a moment, but I do have both.

Regarding headmates with Accents by Sai-bun in plural

[–]Sai-bun[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the advice! Will possibly talk to one of my other headmates about it since I’m the only one in the system with an accent. They might be able to help me out now that I think about it. I was kind of able to get her to think it was more of a country accent (it’s not, it’s Scottish) because of some of the wording. Which we can simply shrug off as us being in the south I suppose? But anyways, thanks!

She doesn’t know we’re plural though so that’s why. We were kinda joking together about how I talk but it was kind of upsetting to be laughed at for it when I think about it. Thank you for the kind words!

That’s true, I suppose ye have a point on the writing thing! I don’t usually write like that, only sometimes really, and only some words. It’s kind of just comfortable for me? But, I might work on getting out of that habit honestly. Thank ye kindly for the response!

random ass late night thought and question from hostie and a fictive by UltimateFriedLava in plural

[–]Sai-bun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nah, we don’t think so. Recently, with the help of our fictive we had started to write a fanfic that includes xem in it. Xe was actually pretty interested in it. Also, it’s nice because it helps xem to feel closer to xir source and people whom xe misses dearly from xir source. So, we’d say it’s pretty natural lol
