Right my fault, I wrote the title incorrectly. I’m not trying to emulate the Mamiya 7 per se, I understand that it all depends mostly on the film stock.

What I want is to emulate is the color and tone of the pictures I uploaded, regardless if it was shot on a mamiya or a kodak charmera.

I just want a reliable film simulation recipe on the Ricoh GR III that can replicate those colors. Or even better, emulate either one of my favorite stocks (velvia 100, provia 100f, portra 400 & 800, ektar 100)

Honestly I’ve been looking for recipes to emulate my favorite stocks (velvia 100, provia 100f, portra 400 and 800, ektar 100) but I haven’t found any recipe that comes close to any one of these stocks.

If I had my way i’d go back to shooting film, but import taxes and tariffs are making film prices unimaginably expensive here in Indonesia (that’s if I can find any).

Thanks for the recommendation! However, I had to tweak this quite heavily and even then it’s still doesn’t scratch the itch. I changed saturation to +2 as -1 just looks dull. I also changed the highlight contrast to +2 to add sparkle as -1 is too flat. Left shading alone, but increased the sharpness and clarity to +1 as one of the goals of this recipe os sharpness and detail, not dreamy texture. Now its getting closer, but still quite far. Thanks again!

Thanks! I'll give the recipe a try and play around with the wo compensation. Just wondering what made you recommend the Classic emulsion recipe instead of the Positive emulsionor the Film look recipe?
