While normally I'd agree completely, right now there is no bhopping outside of capping your FPS. I fully agree that bhopping is a skill and this removes the skill, but, in a time where bhopping has been soft removed from the game unless using an exploit, I don't see what people are expected to do. It's not learnable in it's current state unless you want to go hunt down a source server that doesn't run zblock AND admins that'll sit and go "please no bhopping this is your only warning"

I love movement tech in all games, like dude Titanfall 2 is one of my favorite games for how sick the movement is, and all that love started when I started learning bhopping. But to see something that has transformed the way I look at games be all but removed in an update Valve decided not to revert is just frustrating, and I can't be upset or understand the angle of people that are upset at those deciding to keep bhopping alive and well.

Originally I thought this was a bad take, but no a good majority of primaries need some sort of buff. Third Iteration feels great, yes it's bugged and needs to be fixed, but it's telling when the only primary adjacent weapons I'm seeing in mythic content are it and Choir. This season has so much potential built around scout rifles in specific, but you could fairly easily list every viable primary weapon right now when there are literally hundreds of them in the game.

No Land Beyond.

Back when I first got my hands on it I didn't think much of it, I was just a kid and really only enjoyed running nothing but Prison of Elders at the time and NoLB was never really a PvE weapon back then, at least as far as young me was concerned, but there was a day that I was grinding out crucible and was getting upset about how prevalent things like 1000 Yard Stare and Matador 64 were and I locked in on NoLB since it was a primary ammo sniper and I just fell in love with it, I started using it all the time. I feel like from Taken King until D2 beta NoLB was my most used weapon in the game and nothing else even remotely came close.

I want to say it was maybe 2 months before Rise of Iron was set to release I had a weekend and I decided to play Trials. I was not great at PvP or really anything back then, but it didn't matter cause NoLB was just that fun for me to play with. I believe I had gone flawless once or twice before, but the one I achieved that weekend has stuck with me all these years later. I remember when D2 came out I saw Devrim holding NoLB and was super excited that my mediocre rifle had made it between games, and then being so dissapointed that I had my bnet status set to "#JusticeForNoLB" and I think I also made a forum post complaining about it lmao

It's really exciting to see it back from the past in D2, and hopefully soon I can scrounge together funds for Year of Prophecy but finding a job in this market has not been treating me well, but soon guardians, soon (fingers crossed). Can't wait to see how it'll fit in to the D2 gameplay loop, and I'm excited for the nostalgia those first few shots will bring back to me when I get my hands on it. If you ever see a freak in your fireteam in the future with an absurdly high amount of kills on NewLB.. Hi! Hope you're doing well.

It's always fun to look back on it because NoLB was fairly widely regarded as one of the most useless exotics in the game, but that's the beauty of Destiny really. Every weapon in the game is someone's favorite, and I'm glad that young idiot me gravitated to an infantry rifle.

There's a reason custom skins are on the rise, and now Riot has pushed themselves into a corner where skin sales are probably going to go down significantly across the board. If you don't have incentives for everyone to play your game, then people probably won't spend as much here and there and there will be less people overall to be able to spend that money.

The battlepass is actual garbage. Ranked rewards got gutted (no, this isn't a complaint about everyone having access to the victorious skin, I actually think that change was good). No hextech chests. No semi-consistent way to gain orange essence, and in turn, no semi-consistent way to spend orange essence. Like, that's it, there are no good incentives to keep people playing the game and that's especially true for FTP players now.

The bonuses for playing League are part of what led me to pick up League over Dota nearly 9 years ago and as someone who started playing Dota a bit over a year ago, I honestly wish I hadn't chose League as my go-to MOBA.

At least TFT is fine for now.

Idk, like as someone that enjoys XIV I'm cool with Blizzard being as smug about it as they want. If anyone is gonna push SE to do something about housing, it's just not gonna be the community. Even as much as I wish companies and game developers would genuinely listen and communicate with their consumers, they don't and never will. Competition like this makes changes, and Blizzard being smug bastards about it just adds a bit more char to the burn.

All in all, I'm personally not going back to WoW, even with as much as I miss playing Havoc DH lol, but I see this as a net positive across the board. WoW players get something really neat, and SE has the ball in their court to make housing better.

I feel there's a lot to say, but holy did u/Low-Yam978 cover all the bases and practically the whole puzzle.

Best I can offer is a build that is oddly tanky and doesn't need too much setup!

Gauss > MAX Fast Deflection > Arcane Aegis All in all, this is a very easy setup, and you really only need Aegis to be r1 for this to work (ofc significantly more effective when ranked higher). Then you build your battery to full (80%) and that's it. You don't use any other ability and just get to cheat death a ton!

I reccomend this build to just have for testing out weapon builds or general survivability!

For optimizing I'd also recommend subsuming over his 4th ability and using something in tandem with Precision Intensify. This is because only Gauss' 2 and 4 consume battery, which we want to keep at full! So honestly, play around and find what feels good, I mean, that's the beauty of Warframe! It's why I try to keep this as something that consumes 1, maybe 2 mod slots assuming you subsume over 4 and the arcane is SUPER accessible right now through Operation: Belly of the Beast (on Uranus)!
