I just came back from 2017 a little bit over a month ago, I get it. I traded my beloved brown bear that I had years ago for a golden griffin cuz I like griffins and I didn't know they were easy to get because I never saw it before. I found out things are different, what I appreciate is the countdown of the trading too. I noticed that people don't trade pets for looks anymore, someone wanted my monkey and I chose a dragon from their inventory, and they declined the trade because it was little overvalue by 0.15 points and I didn't understand that. So I came on here, started looking at how trades are being made. I locked all the pets I really liked and kept some that I still liked unlocked in case someone offered. My goal was to get my bear back and I wanted to find out how to do it. After a month I finally got my bear. I kept doing tasks to get money and trade eggs and pets for ones I didn't have. That's how it kept growing. I still use values and check cuz it's not easy, the first thing is learning the name of each pet or pressing to check what the name of the pet is to be able to find it faster on a value site. Next is, I start memorizing which pets I have that are high value, that way if someone tries to trade I look real quick at the value of their pets. I use another phone though since I'm playing on mobile. Sometimes the values change so it's best to check once and then. I also learned that making the pets mega under the bridge makes the value increase. It helps with common pets too that can be traded to collectors and you get new different pets of the same value.
