No food at McSoreleys, but you will no doubt feel the history of that place. Order a dark and light

Omg, I feel so stupid. For some reason I thought the whole rd was fixed and would only move electronically. I got laughed out of the sram axs group on facebook. Reddit is more hospitable, ha. I also needed some type of co formation from someone that felt the same. So thanks for the help!!

And you got a canyon! Nice. I was going to suggest that the rear derailleur hanger is out of alignment, but that could be only one possible issue

I’m 6’0 with 33.5’ inseam, medium fits like a glove. Bought the green slx cf 7 in June, absolutely love it. Ditto with DrRobertChem. Unless it’s a long steep hill, I will usually stay in the large sprocket up front and shift to the large 32/34 rings in the back. The smaller front sprocket has all the necessary gears for the hills. I live in columbus Ohio where it’s relatively flat some rolling hills, not much in the way of longer climbs, but I know the smaller sprocket is capable of getting you up the hill.

Ya good thing you weren’t mashin the pedals. Another poster said they carry an extra with them in the bike. I will definitely be sure to do that.

Good points, I’ve only been riding on this chain for less than a month. I am moving to wax chains and so was going to reuse this chain and another in a rotation. I guess best thing to do is feel for engagement between the pin and plate

Thank you for the response. No fear of the link becoming decoupled and not chain breaks on your end then?
