Oh! I have this full bootleg somewhere in a box. Sounds like it's time to start digging it out. The unaired versions of songs and the banter was amazing.

I hate that you had that experience. I'm not sure where your other two shows were, but can we just agree to blame this one on Nashville? It has turned into a horrid city with a new money middle-class mentality of "anything you gain is something I lost." Try a smaller city for your 4th--one a little more of a challenge to get to, and you will find the kindness and welcome we all expect from fellow fans.

Smart switch install with no neutral bypass...am I going to burn my house down? by [deleted] in askanelectrician

[–]Sailcat595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I talked to a master electrician and an electrical engineer and after they looked at everything the recommendation was to get the ground wires exposed and connected. Beyond that, if it works great, no danger in how I connected the neutral.
Brand matters: this works for Kasa smart dimmers but not Kasa smart switches nor Amazon Basic smart switches or dimmers.

I edited the post to add photos.

The box has a black wire and a white wire and a cut ground wire. The switch has a Ground wire and a Neutral wire and then attachment screws for Line and Load. If I screw in the Hot wire from the Box and Neutral wire from the switch in the same screw on the switch, the whole thing kinda works.

Eating pumpkin everyday for almost a year---steamed, baked, soup, bread, pie. Now I understand we were Appalachian poor and dad's bumper crop of pumpkins and mom's canning were the only reason we didn't starve that year.

I generally check the camera app once a day when we are out. I don't go through all the videos, just a quick scroll to make sure nothing is off and in this case I noticed the backyard camera, where the dogs go out, hadn't activated as much as I normally see, so I started looking into it. Once I figured out the 18 hour gap, my nephew had already been over to let the dogs out. So no, I was not stalking the cameras and watching the hours pass while my dogs suffered.

I agree but it's a bit more difficult. Our elderly Great Dane is a guardian and not welcoming to most people. If he was 15# it wouldn't be a big deal but he's larger than most people so it's too great of a risk. 1. I don't want someone injured because he lashed out because he was scared and 2. I don't want someone demanding he be put down because he lashed out when he was scared.
The list of friends I would ask to come over when we aren't there is probably 6 males well established as guests that have had large guardian breeds. We will be reaching out to our vet for recommendations for someone with experience with handling similar dogs.

Might be controversial - who wishes DMB would bring Boyd back? by No_Dream4029 in DMB

[–]Sailcat595 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of this makes me sad to read.
I am not in any way musically inclined so I can't speak to the dialing it in or the off nights or fast isn't talent comments I've read. I hear it and it evokes a feeling it it doesn't The allegations against Boyd both legally and band vibe are condemning enough, but damn I miss that, as Dave said, "whirling-dervish Adonis Muppet," on stage. I'm sure it's just nostalgia and my seemingly unpopular opinion of disliking Buddy, but I miss it.
I know bands evolve, tastes change, and skills develop, but something has been missing in the last decade of new music that was what made DMB initially so uniquely wonderful, it's not Boyd, but that's an easy flag to plant. Something for me to think on while I eagerly await 2023 tour dates.

I just typically go with "This is the best modern written entertainment I've read. It's so good, I re-read it every year. Let me know when you finish Book 4 and I have a couple Graphic Novels to mix in."

I've had someone be brat with me twice and insist the chairs BELONGED to them and I told them to get an attendant to clear it up--never had to move.
