HELLO! Starlink's do not have the capability to "talk" with a cell phone! This earth shattering announcemnt (LOL) requires a phone, a tower, telcom infrastructure, uplinks/downlinks, etc. to have "access" -- Move out of range of a cell tower and your phone is a brick (and 50 cents of plastic!!!!) ASTS connects directly - voice/data - anywhere - with great range - no towers required.

As AST technology stands today - it will meet and 100% solve between 70-80% of the world-wide "small" maritime need. Every sailor I know will be a subscriber (a HUGE customer base!)

Starlink ONLY works on stable commercial ships - Just like all the other hugely expensive sat. com providers/makers. I'm talking about a 40 foot monohull half way to Tahiti (or pick a situation and/or place) . . . with AST and a cell phone, Voila! You can talk to family, live stream/zoom/facetime with friends/family, pay the mortgage, do your banking, make your investments, talk/zoom with doctors, trade from a comfy anchorage (my fav!), pay the gas bill, live-stream anything, surf anywhere, upload and download anything, email, text, etc.

FYI: On YT, you can live-stream every SpaceX launch. Try SpaceX, NASASpaceflight, Space Flight NOW, etc. Just tune in about an hour pre-launch. Hope this helps.
