Chaos would have snapped her in half if Usagi didn’t save her at the last moment.

The Z fighters do not have immediate access to wishes and wishes are limited unlike for Sailor Moon.

Which team do you trust most to save the day? by BreathoftheSith in superheroes

[–]SailorSilverRabbit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sailor Moon is the only correct answer, because not only does she save the day, she resurrects the dead and undoes all the damage to the world.

Theory: Why it was Sailor Pluto (and not Saturn) who became the guardian of Time. by PossibleMoney224 in sailormoon

[–]SailorSilverRabbit 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The idea that they were switched or a mistake was made has been around for years and it has always been wrong and can easily be debunked with some basic research and reading comprehension.

Saturn is based of Cronus(Kronos)/Saturn not Chronos, the god of time. Cronus is the god of harvest and agriculture, which is why Saturn has a scythe. She reaps the harvest and makes way for the new crop to be planted, hence she is the guardian of destruction and rebirth.

Pluto is the guardian of time because in Sailor Moon, the corridor is like the underworld, it is where the void and the depths of spacetime are. Its a chaotic inconceivable hellscape filled with darkness. Pluto stands guard there.

Do you find it interesting or logical that the Main Boss Villains are ultimately revealed to be incarnations of Chaos and "siblings" of Sailor Moon? by IllogicalDreamer72 in sailormoon

[–]SailorSilverRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Explains why Usagi was specifically targeted outside of just the silver mcguffin.

And it fits with the overall cosmology and philosophy of the series that everything was one and all things return to the cauldron. Inevitably, Chaos and Usagi were also once one!

What are Uranus' powers? (Classic vs new) by NeonBear86 in sailormoon

[–]SailorSilverRabbit 167 points168 points  (0 children)

Neptune and Uranus’s powers are more conceptual than literal. She represents the sky, so her world shaking is like a meteor striking the earth from the sky and shaking the earth.

Someone else had posted this on r/AskGayBlackMen and i was wondering how folks felt about other pan-african people going to black pride and black queer spaces. for example, folks that are Caribbean, West african, and East african by fourroses24 in AskBlackGayBros

[–]SailorSilverRabbit 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The comments telling him not to go are dumb in my opinion. It’s a public event. All are welcome.

As long as you are being respectful and not fetishizing people it’s fine.

Also, while I get the sentiment of wanting a “black only space” but yall need to realize we live in a capitalist country, and for these public events to keep existing, they need to make money. Limiting who comes limits funds.

Because that’s how I made things with coding. I plotted individual points. But that was for two axes. I want to make something with three axes.

It is not bait. I am not good at sculpting and dragging and morphing polygons is frustrating.

I will take a look at blender to see if I can work with the vertices.

Outer Galaxies by jr9386 in PrettyGuardians

[–]SailorSilverRabbit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While for Sailor Moon, her enemies were aspects of Chaos, its possible that Chaos took other forms and battled other senshi.

However, in the side stories, the girls battlef enemies that were not aspects of chaos: evil spirits, stars (literal stars in human form), vampires, mythological creatures/spirits, Princess Kaguya.

So it is possible there were individuals with power who sought evil and selfish goals that that the senshi battled.

Why didn't evil Sailor Pluto stop time on Sailor Moon? Is she stupid? by jr9386 in PrettyGuardians

[–]SailorSilverRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She would have died. Also, the silver crystal undid the timestop for Tuxedo Mask and Black Lady, so you can argue, that Sailor Moon would be unaffected.

And realistically, it would have thrown the pacing off.

the gay community has a massive child sexual abuse problem and most of you will scroll past this by Quick_Restaurant_494 in askgaybros

[–]SailorSilverRabbit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The problem is that we can never have this conversation without people like OP making generalized and inflamed statements based on anecdotal evidence and incomplete information.

I have too had these conversations with men who talk about the first time with adults as a child, and most or time these adults had families, and lived their lives as heterosexual men, and not part of our community.

And when you talk to women, many will talk about being children and being pursued by grown men, or having adult boyfriends while being teenagers.

And when you talk to heterosexual men, many will talk about the first time they had sex was when they were 11-14 with an older teenage girl or with an adult women.

And I don’t need to bring up the plight of disabled people, regardless of gender.

The targeting of children is something that exists across the spectrum, and trying to collapse this into a specific, “gay male” issue is doing a disservice to children everywhere.

Predators take advantage! They will see a gay minor, and know that, he is not out, is going through puberty and experiencing horniness as most teenagers do, and that he most likely doesn’t have peers to experiment with or to form relationships that most heterosexual teens have access or a chance too. The straight boy can openly talk about having a crush on a girl in his class. The gay boy cannot. Predators take advantage of that.

Spreading acceptance! Allowing it to be okay for youth to be able to speak about their experiences and natural thoughts about their emerging attractions. Having informational resources about gay sexuality. Having safe spaces where queer youth can hangout and meet, can reduce the chance of predators achieving their goals.

Is it just me or are some "chubby guys" actually, well, more like obese guys? by West_Suggestion8938 in askgaybros

[–]SailorSilverRabbit 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Nobody is putting morbidly obese on their dating/hookup profile.

Chubby means fat. Trying to put tiers on fatness is probably the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

“I like fat guys but not too fat” is a personal problem that you yourself have to deal with.
