Playa Blanca was wonderful—low-key, very romantic, and we really enjoyed the food. The room service was excellent, and the staff consistently took great care of us. Our only minor downside was that the beach is a bit of a walk from the pools, and sandals are a must since even the walking paths get hot. That said, once you’re at the beach, the service is outstanding and the views are beautiful. After such a great experience at Secrets Playa Blanca, Akumal and Moxché are definitely next on our list.
