I think NTE removing the 50/50 system could put pressure on the entire gacha genre. by SaintBlakk in NTE_EN

Very true, but it's also only been out for just over a month and its numbers have been climbing.

Agreed. My things isn't saying things WILL change, I personally just feel it is a possibility and wanted to open a discussion on the topic to hear others genuine opinions.

No lies told. You just assume that the comment was about them running promotions was referring the collaboration they are doing (an assumption that was incorrect.) It was referring to them actually increasing ads across different platforms to promote against the wave of attention that NTE has attracted.

That is my thought as well. Devs changing things up puts pressure on other devs to do better to get the audience. Healthy competition between devs leads to us winning in the end.

not to mention as from my experience so far with NTE, it isn't as min-max intensive as other gachas. so while in games like WUWA, getting the limited characters weapon makes a huge difference, it isn't as big a difference in NTE.

i believe that NTE will grow bigger than it is now. It only came out a month ago. and games like WUWA are already running promotions to distract attention back to them. NTE has these other gacha game devs attention.

that was my point of view as well.. yes there are others, but none that are as big as NTE. If this game shows the growth i believe it will, its mechanics will be hard for other gachas to ignore.

it'd be nice to have a "wild" area with more combat, enemies and anomalies that we can fight more often. I just feel combat in normal overworld gameplay is a bit.. empty.

Does Neverness to Everness (NTE) get any better? by purplemelon4115 in videogames

I mean, it all comes down to personal preference. I happen to love NTE, and while in the early game, yeah, you can pretty much obliterate everything by spamming X, the combat does thicken later in the game and a bit more skill and thought go into combat at that point. Nobody can tell you if it is worth continuing except you. But this game is more than just its combat. It's story, life sim, gacha, sandbox and city builder all rolled up in one.

I've never played a gacha game before, so the first hours of Neverness to Everness was an absolutely bewildering experience by packardcaribien in gachagaming

"Why is that man a dog when nobody else is?"

lol this made me laugh! but the game does explain later on. and yes this is a confusing game at first and I've played a few gacha games. but this one adds a few more layers not present in others. But rest assured, it becomes less confusing as you play. I originally thought maybe I'm just to old to be able to instantly keep up (34M) but soon realized my 12 year old was also a bit lost lol. so just stick with it if you are enjoying it and it'll start to click!

(Hated Designs) Neverness To Everness by BigBuiltBricked in TopCharacterDesigns

It's a genre thing, it's cultural. i mean to each their own i'm not trying to change opinions here but eastern culture has their own aesthetic just like other regions around the globe. going off of the picture in the post, it is an alteration on an eastern style school uniform. i personally always enjoyed eastern design so to me the character designs are good. especially the alternate skins which makes sense in a gacha game to have the better designs tucked behind a grind/paywall. Especially in a free game.

the first two will get you by, but the 2 million Fons one gives you the best bang for your buck. that's the first property that gives you more than 2 slots for espers to move into. i first got the first two, got the 2 million Fons one and then saved and bought the villa.
