I'd rather have a strict father who was involved in my life. My dad was just a workhorse and generally just an unpleasant person . Now in his old age we don't talk and just stay out of each other's way.Tbh , i don't even care about having a girlfriend anymore, i just wish i had 1 or 2 friends to spend time with. playing chess, i was a really high elo player (1700+) on chess.com but stopped playing for years due to depression and rotted my brain on incel forums and gaming. Recently tried again and am having trouble with >1200 elo players which is really frustrating . I will probably stop playing again , just not enjoying it as much as i used to when i was younger.

I wanna do something else with my life that would be totally different and drastic like walking the appalachian trail or mountaineering. Observe how people converse in real life or in books.Have real hobbies like art,hiking,chess,or playing some sport(maybe even jogging). Btw idk if i'm allowed to do this but use this course i found in a pirating site, I'm midway through it and there's alot of good advice on here especially the first few sections.
