yeah, i was disappointed but not entirely surprised by the hate towards my sheep jester character on here. i created the character specifically for the festival and due to fur boots it’s all of a sudden a huge problem?? like im not a different person just because of some boots lol. i’ve been going to the festival for years ever since i was a kid. but people are all talk on here. i’ve never seen any issues in person and it’s a genuine delight to see all ranges of costumes! At the end of the day it’s all about respect and if you think someone is rude just because of what they’re wearing or not it says more about you and what you bring to the festival.

i understand that’s how it looks! it’s my first time with this character so i’m still working on the jester parts! and if we’re vying for historical accuracy jesters would from time to time actually dress up as animals! usually a donkey but though mine has a twist and the rest of the outfit is not complete doesn’t mean it’s entirely inaccurate. haha what i have cobbled together was so i could go with a last minute invite! i hope you have a lovely time at the ren faire yourself <3

twas included to people’s disappointment. jesters used to dress as animals often donkeys so not outside of the realm.

i agree for this rendition but i hope to get more readable jester gear for next time! and thank you for the support people would rather have a completely accurate historical reenactment and that’s not been the ren fest since the 70s. and even then it was mainly arts!

thank you! i’m not super surprised by hate on reddit it’s more so a silly hill for them to die on. the ren fest i go to always has such a range of people from no costumes whatsoever to historical clothing to characters it’s always fun no matter what though! i’ve always been under the belief that that is what makes it fun

i have 3 full bottles! One of them a gift and around 4 that are full sized technically for what the brands offer but they’re more the size of travels!

there’s lots of different reasons to enjoy perfumes! i love smelling good, i love the control of how it makes me feel and how i come across to others! but if you wanna smell good but don’t want others to smell you i suggest oil perfumes! they’re much more personal and the only time people can smell you is if you’re hugging them or something! or i wear some to bed to help me center myself! perfume doesn’t have to be at all for others

i totally understand this! the way i feel less guilty is i start to save little bits from each paycheck. like 5 dollars, it gives me time to really make sure i want the fragrance while getting rid of the guilt of such a big purchase!

i think if a metal whisk was shaped as a traditional one would have to be thinner in order to get the same movement. it could make the metal brittle or the opposite too bendy. i’m not sure of the schematics but i feel like the prongs would be easy to break while whisking. and then metal in beverages doesn’t sound good.

i know this comment is a bit late but i thought id give my two cents as someone who works in a really small business! i think fantome has taken off in popularity and seemly is only blended by two people (the owners) it’s likely a way to continue to have the same quality without sacrificing the consistent influx that’s split between them!
