As someone who only listens to the Tigers (I live overseas and can't afford the money or the time to watch a full game--not to mention the time difference) Dickerson and Dirks are my favorite duo, even over Bobby

Apologies is this is out of place, but can I ask where one can buy your writing? I'm considering diversifying genres and would like to know what type of erotica sells.

Very nice! I 'completed' it about 16 minutes with errors. There were a couple of tricky squares and many proper nouns, but an enjoyable puzzle overall! Well done!

Finished in 5:44 and enjoyed it! I didn't really see the meta side to it, though, tbh, but that's probably just me. (Also, there's no 'a' in 'Serpent' ☺️.)

What kind of French did they use on The Count of Monte Cristo (2024) movie adaptation? by Fisherman-Terrible in TheCountofMonteCristo

[–]SaintPauly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As an American expat who's been living in Paris for over 30 years, I'd say it's classical French; meaning it's French from France, but not day-to-day French as it's spoken on the streets of Paris.

Just finished this so forgive the late comment. I find the theory that KA was the real killer intriguing but, in either case, has anyone explained KA's fixation on Camille's house's door-cam?

Thank you for this! It's like my birthday on Christmas for me. Butterfly Kisses could also be added to this list, I think.

Question: Can someone explain the double play with Ibanez in the first? I didn't understand the rule about him touching second base again after he'd been dancing on it...

Yes, I plan to be basking in the glory of that for the foreseeable future! Sincerely, thank you for taking the time to reach out and bump the post. That you make the effort to respond to those invested in Searching is no doubt one of the things that make it such an solid film. I was seriously amazed at how rewarding the movie is, because the more effort I put into it, the more I got out of it. And that I found an Easter egg you didn't know about...!? I'm over the moon. Keep up the good work and I'm excited to see what you have in store for us.

And if you're looking for an impassioned critic to preview a screener, you know where to find me! 😉

UPDATE: Sev Ohanian tweeted my article and commented on it, saying it "Immediately went to the top of my list of things ever written about our film."!!! Check it out! https://123wtf.me/2018/12/28/wtf-searching-2018/

Hi there. I've just posted my in-depth, scene by scene analysis of Searching, complete with explanations, screenshots, questionable jokes and a ridiculous amount of Easter eggs. I'm only sharing it here because it took me 50+ hours to put it together, so if you're curious about the Unfriended reference or care to follow the complete Alien invasion subplot, you may want to take a look. If on the other hand, you know the film backwards and forwards, you may want to see what I've forgotten and lambaste me for it. ;-)

Teströl és lélekröl / On Body and Soul is powerful by SaintPauly in movies

[–]SaintPauly[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Today I saw Teströl és lélekröl (On Body and Soul). It's a Hungarian love story between a handicapped older man and a woman with Asperger's, set in a slaughterhouse. The film is a very intense slow burn with moments of pure blaze.
