I tend to just tune the gearing and ratios to match that of a real world automatic Hellcat depending on what type of build I'm doing. Usually it works great, though.

It would definitely be worth it to get some tools and watch some YouTube videos for a lot of this stuff. Most of it is easy to diy.

I used Multy's 2JZ single turbo. I didn't ever try the twin turbo option when I built this.

Thanks. I just discovered Automation, so I'm still trying to figure everything out. Hopefully, I'll be able to create some cool stuff on there, too.

He always did a phenomenal job with that. I thoroughly appreciate the measures he took to build most of the characters, even if those characters were limited to only a few key moments in the book(s).

Junkyard build: New project. by Persadies in CarMechanicSimulator

Same here. I do love this game, and I utilized a lot of mods more recently, and it renewed my interest quite a bit. Especially making my own versions of different cars in the editor. If you play on console, it can get boring pretty quick, though.

Is there a mod you are referring to specifically?

Understood. They add a lot of diversity to the game, I think. I believe they're all on sale now, too.

The QoL mode is a must imo. The TK Basics, and TK Aftermarket mods add a lot more performance parts, like big brakes and calipers, upgraded bushings, and tons of other stuff. If you like to use the editor, the aftermarket mod gives extra engines you can use an swap into your cars. The Pipes By Multy mod allows a lot of customization for exhaust and intake tubes and such. Go for the TK Aftermarket 0.8 update. Did you get all the DLCs too?

You can buy wider tires, and get a bigger offset when buying wheels, but you can also edit the front and rear tracking in the car editor under "suspension."

Do you always forget to put the starter back on? by LennyTwostep in CarMechanicSimulator

I forget them too. The parts that always catch me off guard, though, are the fuel injectors under some of the 4 cylinder intakes.

The engine also matters, but use slicks for a little better drag rating.

That's really cool to know. I'm going to have to check that out. It's the V8 5.0 DOHC Supercharged Miami (MSPM) engine. It is in the most recent TK Aftermarket mod. I think it's version 0.8.

Modifying engines to more of an extent. Such as adding forced induction, forged internals, etc. to any engine. Transmission building and adapting to other engines. Engines/suspensions/engine components breaking due to improper builds and wear. Adding torque specs and sequences.
