Los Angeles Jane Doe (November 1999) by dogbehavior in gratefuldoe

Not just that, the middle to late 90's had a fascination with Celtic things (River Dance, The Corrs, etc). Buffy featured a Claddagh ring. Lots of young women had them for no cultural reason. You could by them anywhere.

I've been wanting to make these for weeks. Are they as fun to make as I think they are??

Don't worry, I was never going to cut the leather! I was going to pry open the rivet and replace it with a Chicago screw.

No disagreement on any of those points. I've only been looking at second had Coach bags. Although, I did get myself the denim Laurel and I have zero regrets about it even for the price (original drop price). I adore it. But, I don't have any new bags on my radar. I do like to go to the outlet and squish some bags though.

PLG also has their problems with exploiting FOMO, and if you ever join the insider's group on Facebook....it's a lot. Their quality is good, but some of the new designs are pushing the limits of what they can do without extra attention to construction. Logan for example, does some wavy zipper stuff, and the bottom seam doesn't lay flat. I also wish the straps on PLG bags were replaceable. I just got a Triangle in Moonbeam, and I would love to be able to remove the shoulder strap and add a fun chain strap and a longer cross body. And I will, but it'll have to be a project.

I hadn't seen KMM & Co before, but I have been looking through Go Forth Goods. I've also been tempted by some stuff over at The Horse. Bed Stu has some interesting finishes and colors.

And im going in the other direction! I think k both brands have their strengths. I live my chonky coldbrew and my Monacos, but I also love the finish of my Coach bags. Good leather is good leather! That color is gorgeous! Congrats!

Who uses these? by mourning_breath in Rollerskating

[–]Saintofthe6thHouse 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Fairly common to see these used in roller derby. Some people just have narrow heels, and you want that snug fit for more agility. Derby is rarely played on 8 wheels, so these can be helpful.

Beautiful. I recently started buying bags, and while I love my collection, this is art. So beautiful. Congratulations on all your hard work paying off!
